Our History
Established in 1990, we are a long-established Flooring and Tiling Contractor based in Paisley.
For the first twenty years, we specialised in providing Carpet and Flooring services to the Hotel and Hospitality Sector.
When our MD Des Martin joined in 2013, we diversified and moved into Ceramic Tiling, widening our portfolio to incorporate both Housebuilding and Care-home Sectors.
Reputations are not built overnight; however, Carpetronic has become known for our attention to detail and commitment to quality over many years. Our team of skilled installers work to the most exacting standards, delivering industry-leading installation services.
While our roots are in Paisley, we operate far beyond, from the North of England to the far North of Scotland. We have also undertaken works in the south of England, including prestigious hotels in London and various projects in continental Europe.

With a long-established background in Ceramic Tiling, his journey with Carpetronic began in 2013, marking the inception of an era that would witness significant growth and development in the company.
Des has proficiently expanded the business into new fields within his tenure, simultaneously integrating the Ceramic Tiling division. This integration represents his vision and hands-on management style, leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience in ceramic tiling.
His approach has played a pivotal role in the success of Carpetronic, charting a path of growth and increasing the company's footprint substantially in the industry.

Evan McKinnon joined the Carpetronic team in March 2023 after amassing more than 25 years of experience in the Newbuild Residential Property sector, with the last 18 of these years working with a high-end bespoke developer.
With a commercial background, Evan's primary mission is to take Carpetronic into the future while further solidifying the company's already robust reputation. His keen knowledge of property development and industry experience will allow Carpetronic to widen its scope of services in the coming years.

With an office-based team covering all accounts, order processing, labour allocation and customer care, we can service projects large and small with a consistent approach to delivery.
Our team of 20 installers are all directly employed, with branded vehicles and uniforms. We can count on vast experience, with some of our installers having racked up 30+ years working with us.
We know that our client base fully appreciates that this consistency allows confidence that they can rely on us to maintain our standards year after year.
Our operational team has Joiners, LVT and vinyl installers, Carpet fitters and Ceramic Tilers, allowing us to undertake multi-discipline works. We also partner with several high-quality contractors in other disciplines, enabling complete turn-key projects to be undertaken when required.
